MX Player is set to thrill anime fans across India by introducing a dynamic collection of globally popular anime titles, available from this May , 2025 in Hindi. Starting May 2, 2025, a fresh batch of highly acclaimed anime series will be available for streaming in Japanese and Hindi on Amazon MX Player. This exciting release has been officially licensed by Muse Communication (Muse Asia), a leading anime content distributor across Asia.
The full list of upcoming anime can currently be seen only in the mobile application, under the “Upcoming” section. Interestingly, only SPY x FAMILY specifies the season number (Season 1 and Season 2), while the other titles are listed without season details. This suggests that the content coming to MX Player consists of seasons that are already available through Muse India’s YouTube channel, Anime Times, Jio hotstar or Crunchyroll (which sub-licenses anime from Muse Communication).
Among all the titles listed, One Punch Man is drawing the most attention. Fans have been eagerly waiting for its Hindi release, and until now, the series had not been available in Hindi on any official platform via Muse Asia. In contrast, the other series — such as Demon Slayer, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Re:Zero — have previously been made available with Hindi dubs through other official streaming services.
Though there has been no formal announcement from MX Player, Amazon Prime Video, or Muse Communication regarding this rollout, the listings hint at a major move to bring more premium anime content to Indian audiences for Free
