This highly anticipated series will premiere on April 8th on Prime Video in Multiple Dubs

Prime Video has officially announced the global streaming premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the latest installment in the iconic Gundam franchise. This highly anticipated mecha anime will debut worldwide on April 8, 2025, with new episodes releasing weekly. The series will be available in both subtitled and dubbed versions on the same day as its Japanese release, reaching over 240 countries and territories.

What makes Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX a groundbreaking project is its dream team of anime visionaries. The series is produced in collaboration between Studio Khara, the creators of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Sunrise, the legendary studio behind Gundam. This marks a historic fusion of two of Japan’s most influential mecha franchises.

The series brings together an all-star creative team, including  director Kazuya Tsurumaki, writers Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anno (Evangelion series), with character designs by Take (Pokémon Journeys) and mechanical designs by Ikuto Yamashita. This dream team of Japan’s top anime creators marks a watershed moment in anime history, uniting the creative forces behind two of Japan’s most influential mecha series. The anime follows the success of its theatrical prequel, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, which premiered in Japan in January 2025 before expanding to the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other international markets. The film was met with critical acclaim, building anticipation for the full series.
