Shinchan Film “Our Dinosaur Diary” to Hit Indian Screens on May 1 in Various Languages!
Shinchan fans in India need to rejoice! The popular anime icon will be coming back to theaters with “Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary,” which hits Indian theaters on May 1, 2025. The film will be released in Japanese, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, making the fans from all over the country available to watch Shinchan’s new endeavor.
Shinchan’s popularity in India has increased enormously over the years, and Sony YAY! has been airing new episodes and new movies in all Indian languages since 2024. Sony YAY first aired the 31st part of the series called “New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Battle of Supernatural Powers” last year, which was released on the platform in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and gained a wonderful response from the audience. To ensure the thrill and keep Shinchan’s hold on Indian cinemas, the 32nd part of the series will also be released in India on May 1, 2025, in Japanese, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
To enhance the thrill, the 33rd part of the Crayon Shin-chan series, “Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Cho Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers” (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers), is shot in India! This is a significant achievement for Indian fans of Shinchan because it will be the first of the franchise movies to be hosted in their nation. The film will hit Japanese cinemas on August 8, 2025, and also gets an Indian theatrical release.
The latest movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary” is already a box office hit, having collected the highest-ever box office amount for all 2D Shinchan movies in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The movie is based on a new “Dinosaur Park” being opened in Tokyo in which dinosaurs are brought to life. The Kasukabe Defense Force gets an exclusive invitation to visit, and there follow nail-biting adventures. Meanwhile, Shinchan’s pet dog Shiro befriends a small dinosaur named Nana, who is adopted by the Nohara family. But Nana holds a shocking secret, and the dinosaurs begin escaping from the park and venturing into Tokyo, causing chaos in the city.
The film’s popularity and Shinchan’s huge craze in India have ensured that audiences here are treated to a non-stop flow of fresh content.
