
The highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle is officially set to ignite the big screen in Japan in this July , 2025!

Aniplex has officially announced that the film will premiere in Japanese theatres on July 18, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the company also shared a new promotional reel and a stunning key visual, giving fans a glimpse of the intense battles and breathtaking animation that await.

In the chaos, Tanjiro and the Hashira are lured into the Infinity Castle – a demonic stronghold where time and space are warped at Muzan’s command. With no escape, the Demon Slayer Corps must fight for their survival in this labyrinth of death, where every corner hides deadly enemies.
The film will adapt the highly acclaimed Infinity Castle Arc, which serves as the final act of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga. The trilogy will unfold the ultimate battle between humanity and demons, with Part 1 releasing in Japan on July 18, 2025.
It has also been confirmed that the film will be screened in IMAX from the first day of release. It is scheduled to be screened in 443 theaters nationwide ( 390 regular theaters + 53 IMAX theaters ), exceeding the number of theaters that Mugen Train was released in 2020.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment are set to bring the film to audiences worldwide, ensuring fans outside Japan won’t have to wait long to witness the epic finale. However, no official release dates have been announced yet. The movie is expected to arrive in international markets by summer 2025, following its Japanese debut.

While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program , the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle.
And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
