Netflix’s Latest Anime Film – ‘My Oni Girl’ Arrives on Netflix India in Hindi on May 24th

It will be marked as the second film that Netflix is co-producing, along with Studio Colorido, among three feature films. The first film, “Drifting Home,” was released on September 16, 2023.

Studio Colorido (  A Whisker Away, Drifting Home,  Pokémon: Twilight Wings and BURN THE WITCH ) ‘s New full-length anime feature, My Oni Girl, will release in Japanese theaters and on Netflix worldwide from May 24, 2024 in Original Japanese dub along with English & Hindi Dubbed

“My Oni Girl” marks the second collaboration between Netflix and Studio Colorido, following the success of previous endeavors such as “Penguin Highway,” “A Whisker Away,” and “Drifting Home.” With a track record of acclaim in Japan, Studio Colorido continues to push boundaries in the realm of feature-length anime.

About ” My Oni Girl ” :-

At the heart of “My Oni Girl” is the story of Hiiragi Yatsuse, a first-year high school student grappling with loneliness despite his earnest attempts to connect with others. His world is forever changed when he encounters Tsumugi, an oni (demon) girl embarking on a quest to find her mother in the human realm. As snow inexplicably blankets their surroundings, their journey unfolds, brimming with wonder and adventure.

Kensho Ono (A Whisker Away) lends his voice to Hiiragi, skillfully bringing out the character’s subtle emotions. The lively and carefree Tsumugi is voiced by rising star Miyu Tomita, whose exceptional voice-acting skills promise an engaging performance.

Shibayama, who previously collaborated with Studio Colorido on A Whisker Away, teams up with screenwriter Yuko Kakihara (The Apothecary Diaries, Chihayafuru), while renowned animator Masafumi Yokota (The Apothecary Diaries, Weathering with You, The Wind Rises) leads the character design. The newly released poster and teaser reveal a world brought to life with soft lines and beautiful colors, showcasing Yokota’s visually stunning design.
