Disney India brings back Pokémon Season 17 on Marvel HQ in India

This series was first Premiered in India via Disney India’s Hungama TV in 2015

Disney India’s action, adventure and superhero channel Marvel HQ, which was launched in January 2019 announced that they will to air Pokémon Season 17 on their channel on from March 20 ,2021 at 8:30am onwards.However the schedule is not fixed as disney India airs the show randomly at 8:30am , 11:30am 4:30pm & 9pm ( only for weekends ).

It’s the seventeenth Season of Pokemon franchise. It’s first Premiered in Japan in 2013 & later Dubbed into indian regional languages & aired on Disney India’s Hungama TV in May 2015. Disney India purchased the rights back from Cartoon Network ( From season 1 to 9 at that time ) in 2013 & began telecasting the first season in May on Hungama TV in 2014.

After its successfully debut on the network , Disney India brought the rights of Pokemon season 17 for the first time in India ( at that time cartoon network India still Owned some of Pokemon previous seasons ) & aired it on the network only on weekends. But later They discontinued it from Hungama TV.

Currently The dubbing of Pokemon Black and white is on going & will Premiere on Disney India’s Hungama TV or Marvel HQ soon. Besides that Pokémon the movie 17th & 18th are also scheduled to Premiere on Hungama TV in Hindi , Tamil & Telugu Dubbed in this year.
