Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today that the record-breaking anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is coming to its streaming platform worldwide excluding Japan and Mainland China on July 28 at 8:00 a.m. PT (8:30 PM IST). The film will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles as well as dubbed in English. Additional dub languages include: Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Russian, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Thai, as well as Polish voiceover. Subtitled languages include: Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Polish, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Melayu.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is the first feature in an epic three-part cinematic trilogy that represents the final battle of the hugely popular, award-winning anime series. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who joined the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization dedicated to hunting down demons, after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
Following its remarkable theatrical release, the film continues the extraordinary legacy of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise, which has captivated audiences worldwide and set new industry benchmarks. The franchise made history with Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, which became the highest-grossing anime film of all time, cementing the series as a global entertainment phenomenon. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I was nominated by the Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture – Animated, the Producers Guild of America for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures, and made the longlist for the BAFTA Awards for Best Animated Film.
The Film premiered on September 12—approximately two months after its debut in Japan. The film went on to become the highest-grossing anime film in Indian box office history, earning ₹90.09 crore gross and ₹74.71 crore net. In doing so, it surpassed the previous record held by Suzume (₹10 crore), while also outperforming Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (₹9.80 crore), Shin Chan: Our Dinosaur Diary (₹9.50 crore), and Shin Chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers (₹8.75 crore).
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I will be available to buy in select territories including North America on the Apple TV app, Prime Video, Google Play*, YouTube, and Fandango on July 28. Pre-orders for the film will begin July 4 on select platforms.
In Southeast Asia, Muse Asia will begin streaming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I on July 28 across its partnered platforms, including Netflix, in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The release excludes India, mainland China, and Japan.

Film Synopsis
Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.
As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
