Dragon Ball DAIMA: A New Chapter in the Dragon Ball Saga

Dragon Ball DAIMA premiered globally on Crunchyroll on October 11, 2024, and is based on an all-new storyline from Akira Toriyama, the original creator of Dragon Ball. Fans can expect familiar characters like Goku and the Supreme Kai, along with fresh faces such as Glorio and Panzy, who embark on an unprecedented adventure in the mysterious “Demon Realm.”

In this series, Goku and his friends have been transformed into smaller versions of themselves due to a conspiracy, leading them into unexpected challenges and dangers in the Demon Realm. The show combines the signature action, humor, and storytelling that have made Dragon Ball a global sensation for generations.

Directed by Yoshitaka Yashima, known for his work on Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, and Aya Komaki, a series director for One Piece, Dragon Ball DAIMA promises a thrilling experience. The creative team also includes Yuko Kakihara for series composition and story scenarios, with animation character design by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, who has worked on previous Dragon Ball projects.
