Tata Play has unveiled a new platform service named Anime Local, designed to cater to the growing demand for anime entertainment in India.

Tata Play Anime local is now available both on Tata Play DTH service on ch 681 & Tata Play mobile App

This service is part of Tata Play’s extensive range of entertainment value-added services and promises to deliver a rich library of popular animes dubbed in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The platform aims to appeal to fans across all genres.

Anime Local is a collaboration with Sony YAY, bringing back beloved shows like “Naruto” and “Black Clover” with dubbed versions similar to those offered by Anime Booth on Airtel. This move follows the recent partnership between Airtel and Sony YAY to launch the Anime Booth channel in India, which has been met with enthusiasm from anime fans nationwide.

Tata Play Anime Local, an ad-free service, is available to all Tata Play subscribers in three different languages—Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam—at just 2 rupees per day. For ease of access, the service is also available simultaneously on the Tata Play mobile app for portable, on-the-move viewing.

Tata Play’s Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Pallavi Puri, commented on the launch, stating, “The evolving preferences of our TV audiences have been the driving force behind the innovative programming we’ve envisioned for our platform services. Anime Local on Tata Play will be yet another jewel to our exhaustive offering.
