SONY India to Shutdown Axn SD & Axn HD from 30th June 2020

Sony Pictures Networks India to Shutdown its two English General Entertainment Channel , Axn SD & Axn HD on 30th June 2020. Fans are now really Disappointed with Sony India. Another great Channel & its potential just got wasted by the team.KC Global Media recently acquired its Asian counterparts i.e – Axn Asia along with animax , one tv & Gem tv. The reason behind putting shutdown button on Axn india is currently unknown. May be it’s because of low TRP or possibly already a part of KC global media’s channels acquisition. The channel hasn’t clarified anything yet regarding this matter.

Recently SPNI shutdown its one music channel as well as Sony ESPN.I don’t know why they are keep ceasing some of its existing channels. May be it’s because of its merger talks with Viacom 18 or shift its total focus to its OTT platform , Sony LIV.
