In a move that’s exploding across social media like a Kamehameha wave, Warner Bros Discovery ‘s Kids Channel – Cartoon Network India has announced an electrifying lineup of Dragon Ball Z movies set to air from tonight, December 22, through January 1, 2026. Fans can tune in Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM IST for a daily dose of high-octane action.

The surprise reveal dropped suddenly on CNI’s social media platforms earlier today, catching anime fans off guard and It appears to be an unexpected move in the ongoing anime broadcast battle among television channels. This timely programming boost positions CNI as a frontrunner in the competitive kids’ entertainment landscape, ensuring young viewers and nostalgic adults alike have their fill of action-packed content during the holiday season.

With rival networks intensifying their offerings—such as Sony YAY! rolling out new episodes of Naruto Shippuden alongside Shinchan series and films, and Disney Channel airing daily Doraemon movie marathons under its Very Merry Doraemon Movies block at 12:00 PM—Cartoon Network India appears keen to ensure it does not fall behind in the increasingly competitive holiday-season programming race. However, the late-night scheduling may limit reach among younger viewers, potentially shifting the primary audience toward older fans and returning viewers rather than the core daytime kids segment.

As the schedule does not specify the exact film titles, it is likely that the lineup will include Dragon Ball movies previously aired on the channel during 2023–2024, including television specials. Given the 9-day programming window, the marathon is expected to feature a mix of films that have already had television broadcasts and titles that were not aired during that period, potentially presented with new dubs. Additionally, the lineup may include a television premiere, most likely Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero or Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

* Further updates will be provided if the network announces the detailed lineup or makes any changes to the schedule. *
