
It’s Set to Premiere in Five Indian Regional Languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bangla

Sony Yay, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel, today announced the highly anticipated Hindi television premiere of the blockbuster anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The film will air on November 5, 2025, at 9:00 PM in Hindi , Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Bangla exclusively on Sony Yay, marking a historic first for Indian audiences.
A prime-time 9:00 PM release positions Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to capture a wider spectrum of viewers, especially teens and adults who are major fans of anime in India. By expanding the target group beyond children and teens and recognizing that up to 60% of the anime audience are adults.Sony Yay is fostering an inclusive space where family members of all ages can tune in together. This strategic timing reinforces the channel’s commitment to shifting perceptions about animation, showcasing that it’s no longer just for kids but resonates with the entire anime-loving community.
The broadcast version has been certified UA13+ with a runtime of 94 minutes, specially edited for television audiences from the original 104-minute theatrical release.
Teasers for the premiere have been airing on the channel since October 19 , and Sony Yay has now officially released the date announcement promo across its social media platforms.
Licensed by Medialink Entertainment, Jujutsu Kaisen zero collected over ₹5.40 crores at the Indian Box Office during its opening weekend, reflecting its strong fanbase and the growing popularity of anime among Indian audiences.It also achieved unprecedented success during its global theatrical run in 2021–2022, grossing over $196 million worldwide and It stands today as one of the highest-grossing anime films in cinema history.
