The series is going to premiere for the first time on TV in 5 regional Languages on Cartoon Network !
Anime phenomenon Hunter × Hunter, licensed by Muse Communication, is officially set to premiere on Cartoon Network India starting August 25, airing Monday to Friday at 9 PM. This marks a historic milestone as the show will be broadcast for the first time in five Indian regional languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The initial television schedule will feature Episodes 1 to 50, covering some of the most iconic arcs of the series: Hunter Exam, Zoldyck Family, Heaven’s Arena, and Yorknew City (Part 1).
Previously, Hunter × Hunter aired on Animax India in English Subtitles from 2011 until the channel’s closure in 2017 as a linear Television Channel. However, this new rollout marks the first-ever regional-language television broadcast for the series in India. Beyond television, the anime has enjoyed enduring success on major streaming platforms, including Crunchyroll (Japanese audio), Netflix (Japanese and English audio), and Amazon Prime Video (Japanese audio), cementing its position as a fan favorite among Indian audiences. MX Player is streaming the Hindi-dubbed Episodes 1–50 for free with ads. Additionally, Episodes 51–58 are available on Muse India’s YouTube channel, although Episodes 1–50 were removed or hidden around May 31, 2025, likely in preparation for the upcoming TV launch.
