Hunter x Hunter, one of the most celebrated anime series worldwide, is officially coming to Indian television this September. Licensed by Muse Communication, the series will premiere on Cartoon Network India in five regional languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam – making it more accessible than ever to Indian audiences.

Currently, Hunter x Hunter is available in Hindi on MX Player with episodes 1–50 streaming for free with ads. Episodes 51–58 are also available on Muse India’s official YouTube channel, although episodes 1–50 were removed or hidden from YouTube as of May 31, 2025, likely in preparation for the televised rollout.

While this marks the show’s first regional-language broadcast, it is not the first time Hunter x Hunter has aired on Indian television. The series originally debuted on Animax India in 2011 and continued airing until the channel ceased linear operations in 2017. Since then, Hunter x Hunter has remained a fan favorite, gaining even wider popularity across major streaming platforms:

Crunchyroll – Japanese audio

Netflix – Japanese and English audio

Amazon Prime Video – Japanese audio

MX Player – Hindi and Japanese (Episodes 1–50 in Hindi, free with ads)

Now, for the first time, Hunter x Hunter will be broadcast on Indian television in multiple regional languages, aiming to bring the world of Hunters to a broader audience.

The initial broadcast will include Episodes 1 to 50, covering fan-favorite arcs such as the Hunter Exam, Zoldyck Family, Heaven’s Arena, and Yorknew City (Part 1).
