Zee Café to Air the Indian Television Premiere of Blue Lock Anime Series in Hindi Dub on July 28

[ UPDATE ] – Zee Cafe has announced the Indian Television debut of Blue Lock Anime series starting JULY 28 , Weekdays at 6pm in Hindi Dub

Zee Café, India’s premier English entertainment channel, has revealed a powerful new teaser on social media hinting at the upcoming Television premiere of the globally acclaimed anime series Blue Lock , based on the bestselling manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, centers on an intense national program designed to create Japan’s ultimate football striker Coming soon to the Television Network.The exact premiere date for Blue Lock on Zee Café will be announced soon.

Even prior to its terrestrial TV debut on Zee Café, Blue Lock has already gained significant traction among Indian anime enthusiasts across various digital platforms. The series has been available through Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel (for ULTRA membership subscribers) and extensively on Crunchyroll, including its dedicated Prime Video Channel. Crunchyroll first notably released Blue Lock in English, along with regional dubs in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, starting in June 2024.

Further expanding its reach, Anime Times’ Prime Video Channel and Animax Prime Video Channel/Tata Play Binge have also made the series available, with Anime Times producing separate second regional dubs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, streaming since April 2025. By acquiring Blue Lock, Zee Café continues to position itself as a leading destination for premium anime content on Indian television.

In recent years, however, Zee Café has significantly expanded its content strategy to include high-quality anime titles, responding to a surge in demand from India’s passionate anime community.


While the Marvel Anime series (Iron Man, Wolverine, Blade) marked some of the earliest anime offerings on Zee Café, the channel truly accelerated its anime slate starting in September 2022 by Premiering
Valkyria Chronicles daily at 6:00 PM IST followed by Guin Saga  , Kurozuka , Viper’s Creed & Ultraviolet: Code 044 in English and Hindi Dub under Heroes of Cafe Block.

In 2024 , Zee Café had added 3 anime titles like Blood Plus , Kabutoborg and Humanoid Monster Bem offering it in both English Dub  with Original Japanese Dub ( English Sub ) as part of the channel’s growing anime catalog.

Also Zee Café’s commitment to anime extends beyond television. The channel successfully launched the Zee Café Anime Fan Fest in Mumbai (October 2023), followed by editions in Bengaluru (March 2024) and Pune (December 2024), providing fans with immersive experiences, cosplay contests, screenings, and exclusive merchandise.
