Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025: Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the Big Day
Get ready, anime fans—this Sunday, May 25, 2025, the ninth annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards returns with more excitement, star power, and global celebration than ever before. The ceremony, which recognizes the best in anime from around the world, promises to be a spectacular event featuring fan-favorite series, legendary creators, and some unexpected celebrity appearances.
Hosted by beloved voice actress Sally Amaki and popular Japanese entertainer Jon Kabira, the 2025 Anime Awards will stream live across Crunchyroll’s YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as Sony Pictures Core and the Sony Group’s Global and Japan YouTube channels. And for the first time ever, the event will include a Hindi dubbed livestream—a welcome nod to India’s growing anime community.
