Now available in India with Animax+GEM on Prime Video for just ₹299/year
The highly anticipated anime Suicide Squad ISEKAI, the anime adaptation of DC Comics’ iconic anti-hero team, is now officially streaming on the Animax+GEM add-on channel through Prime Video. Indian Prime members can access this 2-in-1 Japanese entertainment pack—which includes a wide selection of anime, dramas, and variety shows with English subtitles—for an annual subscription fee of ₹299 .
Suicide Squad ISEKAI is an anime television series based on DC Comics’ Suicide Squad. Produced by Wit Studio and directed by Eri Osada, the series is presented by Warner Bros. Japan. The screenplay is by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, with character designs by Naoto Hosoda, inspired by drafts from manga artist Akira Amano. The music is composed by Kenichiro Suehiro, with opening theme “Another World” by Tomoyasu Hotei and ending theme “Go-Getters” performed by VTuber Mori Calliope.
The anime first premiered in 2024. Internationally, it was released on various platforms: Max and Hulu in the United States, ANIPLUS and LAFTEL in Korea, and HBO GO in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In India, the series is available on Anime Time, an add-on channel on Prime Video. MediaLink has licensed the show across South Asia and Southeast Asia. The anime also began airing on Animax Asia TV channel starting March 18, 2025, every Monday to Wednesday at 8:30 PM (7:30 PM JKT/BKK).
About the Series:
In the crime-infested streets of Gotham City, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., assembles a group of infamous criminals — Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark — for a top-secret mission. Through a mysterious “GATE,” they are transported into an “ISEKAI,” a fantastical world of swords, magic, orcs, and dragons.
Chaos ensues as they arrive and are quickly imprisoned by the kingdom’s army. With explosive collars threatening to detonate in 72 hours, their only path to survival is to conquer the hostile Imperial army under the orders of Queen Aldora. It’s a battle for survival in a foreign realm where every loss could mean death.
Can the Suicide Squad defy fate and live through this otherworldly warzone? Their wildest mission yet has just begun.
