Mumbai, India : Crunchyroll has announced that a historic 51 million votes have been cast globally for the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, shattering previous records and marking nearly a 50% increase from last year’s turnout of 34 million. This unprecedented fan participation underscores anime’s growing international prominence.
The excitement continues as Crunchyroll reveals an electrifying lineup of musical acts and celebrity presenters set to dazzle the global audience during the upcoming ceremony. Japanese musical powerhouses Creepy Nuts, FLOW, and LiSA will take the stage, reflecting anime’s global reach and popularity.
Creepy Nuts, nominated for this year’s Anime Awards, will perform their viral hits “Otonoke” and “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born”—themes from popular series “Dan Da Dan” and “Mashle: Magic and Muscles.” Iconic rock band FLOW, known for unforgettable openings from classics like “Naruto” and “Code Geass,” will perform “DAYS” to commemorate the 20th anniversary of “Eureka Seven.” LiSA, recognized globally for her chart-topping track “Gurenge” from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” is also set to deliver a captivating special performance.
