Anime fans in India, rejoice. Medialink Entertainment has announced the Indian premiere of My Hero Academia: The Movie – You Are Next. The most-awaited fourth instalment in the My Hero Academia film series is scheduled to make its debut on 31st January 2025 and shall be released in its original Japanese Dub with English Subtitles.
The film was first released in Japan on August 2, 2024, where it broke the opening record, earning $23.6 million in Japan. Its worldwide box office gross has crossed $32.2 million, thus making it the highest-grossing film of the franchise so far.
The film opened its wider release in North America and in selected international territories in October 2024 from Toho International in partnership with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures in both Subbed & Dubbed format. It premiered in selected Asian territories by Medialink Entertainment.

My Hero Academia The Movie: You ‘re Next! is a 2024 Japanese animated superhero film based on an original story featuring the characters of My Hero Academia manga series by Kōhei Horikoshi , Original Story Author & General Supervisor: Kohei Horikoshi (Weekly Shonen Jump) . Director Tensai Okamura directs the film, while Yosuke Kuroda pens the screenplay. The animation is produced by the renowned BONES studio, with Yuki Hayashi composing the film’s dynamic music, including the theme song “Homunculus” by Vaundy.

The official Website of the Film Describes The story as :-
“Plus Ultra!” Those were the words of inspiration from All Might, the Symbol of Peace, and they still echo on as a fresh fight breaks out in the world of heroes and villains.
The movie takes place in the spring of Deku’s second year at U.A. High School, just after the big clash between heroes and the overly powerful Tomura Shigaraki. Both parties are badly beaten, and with each ticking second, the showdown between good and evil inches closer.
As Japan recovers, there appears a mysterious figure calling himself Dark Might and claiming to be the new Symbol of Peace. While he is physically All Might, Dark Might’s ideals are quite opposite. Using his Quirk for his own good, he begins to build an enormous fortress, gradually absorbing all the population one by one and threatening the peace of the globe.With no way to tell friend from foe, Deku and his U.A. High classmates must unite to face this new threat. Along with Dark Might comes a young woman with a bizarre Quirk named Anna and Giulio, a mysterious butler-like character whose true motives are unknown.
With the fate of society hanging in the balance, Class 1-A must rise to meet the challenge and bring an end to Dark Might and his organization, the Gollini Family.
