Singapore-based distributor Encore Films , in collaboration with Warner Bros. India , has officially announced the Indian theatrical release of the anime film ” The Colors Within ” ( Kiminoiro ). Directed by the renowned director Naoko Yamada(A Silent Voice ), the film features breathtaking animation by Science SARU ( Dandadan ) and will premiere in Indian cinemas on November 22, 2024, in Japanese with English subtitles.

PLOT SYNOPSIS :
The Colors Within follows the story of Totsuko, a high school student gifted with the ability to see the emotional “colors” radiating from others. These colors symbolize bliss, excitement, serenity, and a hue she holds most dear. Totsuko finds herself captivated by the unique and beautiful color emanating from her classmate, Kimi Sakunaga.
Despite lacking musical experience, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui Kagehira, a reserved music enthusiast they encounter in a used bookstore. Their rehearsals in an old church on a secluded island lead to profound friendships and heartfelt revelations as music helps them explore their deepest feelings. Together, they embark on a journey to discover their true “colors.”
