Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited (formerly known as Sony Pictures Networks India)’s Kids TV Channel Sony Yay is set to premiere the highly anticipated 3D CG film “New Dimension! Crayon Shinchan the Movie: Battle of Supernatural Powers Flying Sushi” on June 8, Saturday at 1 PM in regional dubs. They are currently airing The TV Premiere Promo of that Film on its network.

This film marks the 31st installment in the beloved Crayon Shin-chan series and represents the franchise’s first foray into 3D computer-generated animation.Directed by Hitoshi Ône and co-written by Yoshito Usui and Hitoshi Ône, the movie was originally released in Japan on August 4, 2023. It quickly became one of the highest-grossing Japanese anime films of the year.
The announcement of the movie premiere really surprised the Shinchan Fans as it comes just a month after Sony YAY launched the new season of Shinchan in multiple regional dubs in May. This swift move from releasing the new season to announcing the movie premiere highlights Sony YAY’s commitment to bringing fresh Shinchan episodes as well as The Movies to its viewers in India.
Disney Star Network’s Kids focused Channel – Hungama TV previously aired 13 out of the 31 Shinchan movies. These included movie no – 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23. However, it’s important to note that Hungama TV stopped airing Shinchan movies after the release of the 23rd movie titled Shinchan The Movie : Kaanta Lagaa in 2017. After that no new Shinchan movies have been dubbed in regional languages for television broadcast since then.
