Transformers: War for Cybertron – Siege is now streaming on Netflix.
Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy is a new action-packed animated series that retells the story of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, and to hype up excitement for the return to the world of Optimus Prime and Megatron.It is exclusively available on Netflix Both in English & Hindi languages.
Polygon Pictures & Rooster teeth is animating & Producing the series respectively.Comic book writer and Transformers veteran F.J. DeSanto (Transformers: Titans Return, Transformers: Power of the Primes) is the showrunner on the series.
The first six, twenty-two minute episodes, subtitled “Siege,” picks up “the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons.” Here’s a full plot synopsis:
The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. In an attempt to end the conflict, Megatron is forced to consider using the Allspark, the source of all life and power on Cybertron, to “reformat” the Autobots, thus “unifying” Cybertron. Outnumbered, outgunned, and under SIEGE, the battle-weary Autobots orchestrate a desperate series of counterstrikes on a mission that, if everything somehow goes right, will end with an unthinkable choice: kill their planet in order to save it.
Polygon Pictures also animated the Transformers Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise series.Both of the series had previously aired in india on Discovery kids & Cartoon network india/Toonami India respectively in 2013 – 2016 & 2015 – 2018.
Transformers Prime was first Premiered in India on May 6 , everyday at 3pm & 6pm on Discovery kids india. Later Discovery kids premiered its third season in October 13 at same airing schedule. It is currently airing on Big Magic Everyday at 5:30pm.
Transformers Robots in Disguise was first aired in India on Cartoon network india & Later it’s shifted to Toonami in 2015 & ran untill 2019.
The Transformers Animation franchise has been big in india for quite some time in between ( 2003 – 2008 / on Cartoon network ( Toonami block ) & ( 2012 – 2016 / on Discovery kids ) so fans will be happy to hear some regulars returning to their long-standing roles in this series. Indian Hindi Voice artists Raja Sevak & Parminder Ghuman are back as Optimus Prime & Megatron respectively. The duo had already voiced for their respective characters in the franchise’s previous many animated series.
